Are you Ready to Compete In Competitions On Your Terms?
Are nerves affecting your competitions and your results? Are you uncertain about what to do at competition? Are you afraid of the what if’s that competitions bring? Such as: how is your horse going to react? Are you going to remember you test? What are the judges going to say? Competitions can be an area of complete uncertainty, but what if it didn’t have to be this way?

Imagine going to a competition calm, confident and in control. You’re happy and excited to do your best regardless of what comes your way. Competing is full of uncertainty! What will the judges say? What will my horse do in the warm-up? What will others think? What if I forget my test? What if I come last?

Imagine if there was a way where none of that mattered. If competing was this safe, fun and exciting arena for you to test where you are in your journey and nothing else mattered. A place that regardless of what happened, it’s a fun, learning experience.

Who is Natasha Althoff?
Natasha Althoff is a Grand Prix Dressage Rider and has been an FEI rider for the past 10 years. Haven taken 2 horses to Grand Prix and with another 3 horses well on their way, Natasha is a seasoned competition rider with more than 2000 competitive dressage tests to here name.
So why would you listen to Natasha in regards to helping you at competition? Well if you can name the negative experience or disaster, Natasha has more than likely experienced it! Such as:
Forgotten tests
Made errors of course even with a caller
Been eliminated (and had to be hand lead out as horse kept on rearing)
Come last at many competitions (including at the biggest National Competition in Grand Prix after taking 2 days to drive to the competition just to compete in that one test)
Experienced competition nerves, nerves on the day, nerves in the warm-up, nerves in the test, nerves because of the what ifs and the unknown
Nervous in the warm-up with big Olympians in there at the same time
Unsure what to do in the warm-up
Feeling like you’re wasting your time and money on competitions
Bad time management – not knowing where you’re meant to be and when and feeling rushed
Had your horse bolt out of the test and around the entire competition grounds with everyone looking at you and being told if you can’t control your horse you’ll be banned from competitions
Having a different horse in the warm-up to the test arena
Had judges comments saying perhaps you shouldn’t be competing at this level
The list could go on and on! This would be enough to deter most riders from competing – enough to stop competing ever again! But Natasha stumbled upon a solution and answer that would allow her to compete with confidence, calmness, without nerves and with clarity. A solution that would allow her to enjoy the experience of all her competitions. And a pathway that she would be able to follow that gave her the competition success that she was after.

The more teaching, coaching and observing at competitions Natasha did, the more she realised that she was not alone in her feelings, results and experiences of competitions. Riders everywhere were experiencing the same competition frustrations, competition nerves and were also unsure of the competition rules and etiquettes.

After refining her learnings on her own competitions and then achieving the competition success she was after, Natasha went on to teach her own students what she’d learnt. The great thing was, her students were able to replicate the results at their competitions, and also achieved the competition success that had eluded them.

Taking it another step further, Natasha wanted to see if riders around the world could get their desired results and again the pathway and formula was able to be replicated for them.

These are exciting times! To be able to help riders anywhere achieve the competition success that they wanted. Whether it was overcoming competition nerves, improving their test scores, enjoying the competition experience or whatever they defined it as.  And so from this the Competition Mastery Program was born. A proven pathway to competition success.

You Might Be Thinking Yes, That Worked for Natasha… But:
What if I have a young horse???

Taking young horses to a competition is always a fun and completely uncertain thing to do. When you take a horse to a competition for the first time, they may be the same, worse or better than they are at home. They may freak out at the warm up, other horses, the competition ring or anything else that the horse decides is unsettling.

I have taken over 15 young horses to competitions for the first time and I know what it takes to make sure it goes well. This program gives you the tools to ensure you are the leader and you can guide your young horse through every scary object and environment, so the horse begins to trust and listen to you and only you. If you have a young horse, this program is perfect to set the horse up for ultimate success in all its future competitions, so it has a long and successful competition career.

I have never competed before

Going to your first competition is scary and unfamiliar and it always goes better if you have a mentor or someone to guide you and show you the ropes. Let me be that guide as I explain everything you need to know and everything you need to do and when, to ensure you are always at the right place at the right time with you and your horse prepared as perfectly as can be for you to do your best.

Competing is scary

Competing is only scary if you don’t know what to expect. I teach you all the things to think about and how to react when things go wrong, so you can enjoy the competition experience and use it as a tool to grow and progress in your dressage journey.

I am not a professional

Neither was I! You don’t need to be professional to act professional. Let me share the secrets the professionals use to get their great results so you too can present yourself to perfection and have your best chance to do your best at competition.

I don’t have what it takes

It doesn’t help if I tell you that you do have what it takes. You need to know you have what it takes. You may be doubting yourself, or your ability to learn and master this subject. But what you are really doubting is if you could really have your dream. Could you really trot down that centre line? Confident, calm, happy. Could you really do amazing warm up, and amazing test and claim your blue ribbon? Could you really progress through the levels and find yourself competing at FEI or Grand Prix level? You know you can, And it all starts with this first step …

The tools and techniques that Natasha follows at every single one of her competitions was born out of the frustrations she was getting at competitions. Competition nerves, dealing with a spooky or nervous horse, forgetting tests, not knowing what to do in warm-ups and being unfamiliar about competition rules and procedures can make them scary and unappealing.

When Natasha realised that she had come across a replicable solution to these problems, suddenly competitions seemed fun and enjoyable events. Her results skyrocketed and she was now winning or placing at most competitions. This all seemed because of the system that she had created for herself. A systematic pathway that had tools and techniques to apply at competitions to overcome any of the challenges that the competition would throw in her direction.

In This Program You Will:
Feel calm, confident, excited and ready to compete every single time
Score 5-10% higher in your tests as a result of implementing your new skills, learnings and techniques
Progress in your competition journey, moving through the levels as you take the learnings from each competition to create and advanced plan to work on between competitions. This will ensure you progress and ultimately work up through the levels
Be more confident as you understand the natural highs and lows that competition brings and how to move past setbacks
Start to love and enjoy competing, seeing it as a way to measure and improve your dressage performance
Never worry about the ‘what if’s’ and the uncertainties that competition brings, because you’ll have the tools and techniques to handle it
Love competing and ultimately fall back in love with your horse, your horse riding, dressage and your competition journey

Where To From Here?

Now you are probably wondering how much something like this would cost? There’s really nothing else like it in the market either live courses or online. But if you added up the cost of entering 2000 plus dressage tests, the lesson training Natasha has received from world class coaches, her NLP and Master NLP coaching as well as ongoing training courses and books, then this would have to be easily in excess of $250,000.

And it’s not just the money. It’s also the time. How many years would it take to complete over 2,000 dressage tests? How many years would it take to do the training? And how long would it take to develop your own system after trial and error?

Following the proven competition success pathway is a way for you to fast-track your progress. A way to get the competition success you want without the the hefty price of doing it on your own and years of disappointment.

The ‘Competition Riding Success’ book is a great pre-learning tool to read before we start the course. It’s filled with everything you need to know for Competition Success!

What Happens Next?

Imagine your competition riding in 6 months if you do take action today. It’s the day before competition and your horse is washed and the car and float are packed. You know everything is prepared because you have used your checklists, from the Competition Mastery Program, and have ticked each item.

The drive to the competition and pre-competition preparation goes smoothly and you notice that unlike previous times, you now have a calmness about you. And perhaps your calmness and the energy you give off is translating to your horse, because instead of your horse fidgeting next to the float or in the yard and pawing at the ground, your horse seems more relaxed and content.

You have a newfound confidence and clarity these days at competition. You know what to do when you arrive at competitions, you understand the rules: where to go and at what time you need to start.

You approach the warm-up focussed with an exact plan of the 3 stages of your warm-up. There are other riders on the arena with you, and once upon a time you would have been focussing more on them than your own horse. You would have been apologetic and trying to get out of others way. Now days however, they don’t even pull your attention from your horse, this is your time to get your horse perfect for the test. You remember Tash’s words clearly, ‘the success of your test is dependent on the success of your warm-up’.

The horn or bell sounds and bang, you enter the zone. The place you’d previously heard about and wondered what it all meant and now it is all so clear. Nothing else matters now except you and horse. There are no outside distractions. Your test flows to you easily and it seems you have all the time you need to in your test. You and your horse are at one and you are enjoying the whole experience.

You come down the centreline and do a perfect square halt at the marker and feel a big smile form on your face as you finish your test. You praise your horse as you exit the arena and think to yourself how much fun the entire competing experience is, a far cry from your previous experiences competing.

Where would you be if you hadn’t made the decision to do something about your competition journey those many months earlier? You shake your head because you know that path was so many emotions and feelings rolled into one. Nerves, uncertainty, frustrations, fear, disappointment, anger. The list goes on!

You make your way back to the float content, knowing that you completed the best test you could do at this time in your training. You look forward to seeing your test and reading the judges comments so you can plan your next training and get ready for your next competition.

So the choice is now yours, how would you like to experience your competitions in future?

Can I get the program in hard copy? My computer is old and slow, and I would prefer to watch the videos on the TV.
Competition Mastery is an online program, and utilised best when all parts of the program are used together, some of which are available online only such as the Facebook group. However, you can most certainly receive Dressage Mastery Academy in hard copy if you wish. The hard copy version is an extra $30 per part plus postage, and you will need to provide your own USB of a large enough size in order to have the files transferred over for you. Postage is free for Australian residents. International riders will just need to pay the postage charges, which we can calculate for you. If you would like more information on the Competition Mastery Program in hard copy, please email info@yourridingsuccess.com
How long do I have access to the parts that I have paid for?
Competition Mastery is a 12 part program, and you will have lifetime access to the program, so you can go back and review all of the previous parts when you feel you need to, just before a competition, after a competition… whenever you like! That’s the beauty of Competition Mastery – you can always go back to the previous topics and revisit them!
I’m not very computer savvy - how do I login and access my online content?
Don’t worry – you will be sent all of this in your week 1 email (which we recommend you keep) walking you through how to access the program, as well as your login details.
English is not my first language – I am located overseas, but I do speak English well – will this program help me with my competition riding?
Of course!! The ideas and techniques are universal. Everything is in English (Natasha is from Australia) including the manual and the videos, but the concepts are the same regardless of country or language.
Is the program available in other languages?
At this stage, Competition Mastery is only available in English. If you feel that the program would benefit from being translated into your language – we are open to volunteers to help translate it!
How will I stay motivated and supported throughout my competition journey since this is an online program?
We have set up a private online Facebook community – the page is called “Competition Mastery Members”. If you wish to be a part of the Facebook group, simply search for the page “Competition Mastery Members” and request to be a part of the group. If your Facebook name is different to the one you registered when you signed up for Competition Mastery – just send through an email to info@yourridingsuccess.com letting us know who you are, or send a message to “Your Riding Success” on Facebook.

The Facebook group gives you access to other members of the program, it’s a community of like minded riders that can relate to the journey you are going through, so that you can swap stories, support and champion each other throughout the program. Natasha also posts regularly in the group 🙂

Can I start the program somewhere in the middle and go from there, or pick and choose which parts of the program I would like to have?
No – we feel that you wouldn’t get the full benefit of the program by starting somewhere in the middle or skipping parts of the program!!
I love Natasha’s YouTube videos and learnings, but I think my money would be better spent on private lessons rather than an online program – would Competition Mastery be of any benefit to me?
We understand your apprehension about an online program – that’s why we have a 30 day money back guarantee, so everyone can see how this program works, how Natasha teaches and conveys her wealth of knowledge to you, and the learnings you, without any risk to you.

With a private lesson from a coach on your horse, the lesson is gone once you have finished – whereas Competition Mastery gives you subscription access to the learnings, which you can go over and over again at your leisure.
